Description
Bacteriostatic water for the injection of peptides and growth hormone. This sterile, pyrogen-free water contains 0.9% benzyl alcohol, which is added as a bacteriostatic preservative. Unlike ordinary sterile water, bacteriostatic water can keep the dissolved peptide stable for an extended period.
The container can be re-injected multiple times (usually with a sterile needle), and the benzyl alcohol inhibits or stops the growth of most potentially contaminating bacteria.
